Quarter Auction
Friday, Feb. 3 at Saint Clare’s Church, 714 Myrth Ave. in Essex. Doors open at 6 p.m. Bidding starts at 7 p.m. Paddles 3 for $5. All proceeds go to the church vendors, including but not limited to Purses, Park Lane Jewlery, Baby Cake Cupcakes, Yankee Candle, Home Interiors, Bath and Body Works, Ravens and More, Gift Cards, Hair Products and Tastefully Simple. Night at the Races
Annual event held by the St. Francis of Assisi Athletic Association on Friday, Feb. 3, 7 - 11 p.m. in the Church Hall, 3615 Harford Road. Casino theme event includes draft beer, wine, soda, food, dessert, Big 6 wheel and other games of chance. Cost $15 per person. All proceeds benefit the St. Francis of Assisi Athletic Association. K of C Bingo
Knights of Columbus Council 11615 will conduct a cash Bingo on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 6 p.m. at the Church of the Annunciation Parish Hall, 5212 McCormick Ave. in Rosedale. Includes 20 regular games ($40 prize), five specials including two jackpot games, two split-the-pot games, good neighbor games and instant bingo. Refreshments available. P&J’s Karaoke
Hosted by Essex Holly Neck VFW Post 2621, 206 Riverside Road, on Friday, Feb. 3 at 8 p.m. Kitchen open from 5 - 9:30 p.m. Non-perishable food will be collected for area pantries during the karaoke show.

Super Bowl Party

Karaoke
Essex American Legion, Post 148, 20 S. Marlyn Ave., will host Karaoke with Fun Time Karaoke with Annette and “Wild” Bill, on Friday, Feb. 3, 8 p.m. - midnight.  Country line dancing with Mike Caskey’s Party Masters held in the adjacent hall for a fee, 8 p.m. - midnight.  Come join us for an evening of good dancing, good singing and a fun time. Spaghetti/Lasagna Dinner

Sponsored by St. Michael the Archangel Parish on Friday, Feb. 3, 7 - 11 p.m. at Rosedale Gardens, 8037 Philadelphia Road in Rosedale. Join us to kick off the Super Bowl at this super feast. Music by Tom Gavin’s DJ Delights. Join us for an evening of good food, wheels, games of chance, silent auction, dancing and community building. Kick-Off Celebration
