Calling all boys and girls ages 4 to 12. Registration will be held at Sandalwood Elementary School and will take place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6 - 8 p.m. until March 31. Registration cost is $40 per child. Each child must bring a copy of his/her birth certificate. Volunteers are needed for coaching and referees. The location of the games will be announced.

Boys and Girls Baseball
Registration for the 2010 baseball season is open to boys and girls ages 4 through 15 at Sandalwood Elementary School, 900 S. Marlyn Ave. on Monday through Friday from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. - noon for the week of March 22 - 27. Registration will also be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. and Saturdays 8 a.m. - noon through March 20. Cost is $40 for tee ball (ages 4-6) and $60 for baseball (ages 7-15). Age determination is April 30. Players must bring a copy of their birth certificate and be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Basic Boating Courses
The rec. council will be holding five separate basic boating courses on April 5 & 8, May 10 & 13, June 7 & 10, July 26 & 29 and Aug. 23 & 26. All classes are held from 6 - 10 p.m. A certification is needed for all persons born on or after July 1, 1972 who will be operating a pleasure vessel on Maryland waters. An adult must accompany anyone under 16 years old. The registration costs is $25 and payments must be made by check/money order to Back River Rec. & Parks tow weeks prior to date of the class. Martial Arts
 
The Martial Arts program is ongoing and you may join at anytime. The cost is $25 per session (three months) for ages six through adult. Classes are held on Monday and Friday evenings from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Bengies Chase Community Building and on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 5 - 6 p.m. in the Vincent Farm Elementary School on Ebenezer Road. Baseball
The Colgate Recreation Council will hold registration for the Spring Youth Baseball Program on Tuesdays and Thursdays, through March 16 from 6:30 p.m to 8 p.m. in the Recreation Office at Colgate Elementary School. Program cost is $65 for 5-6 age group; $70 for 7-8, 9-10 & 11-12 age groups; and $75 for 13-15 age group.  Program cost is due at registration and includes 20 $1 raffle tickets (required).  Family discount plans are available. The Colgate Recreation Council will hold registration for Girls Softball on Tuesdays and Thursdays, through March 16 from 6:30 - 8 p.m. in the Recreation Office at Colgate Elementary School. Golden Age Club
The Golden Age Club is open to anyone ages 50 and up for bingo, fellowship and fun! The group meets every Tuesday at Berkshire Elementary SRC, 7431 Poplar Ave., in the recreation activity room from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Stop in during these times if you would like to join.
ESP Baseball

2010 Spring Adult Softball
Two adult co-ed softball leagues will be offered this spring:
Wednesday - Co-ed league, five men/five women to a team. Registration is $415 and league is 10 weeks.
Friday - Mixed league, seven men/three women to a team. Registration is $415 and league is 10 weeks.
Games are played at General John Stricker Middle School fields and Gray Manor Park (some games will be played under the lights). Play will begin mid-April. For more information, call Jeff Schrack at 410-615-5354 or the rec. office.


Baseball
The rec. council is having registration for baseball, ages 4 - 19 at the Victory Villa Community Center, 404 Compass Road. Registration will be held on all Saturdays through March 20 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Fees are as follows: ages 4-6: $50, ages 7-8 (clinic): $60, ages 9-15: $70 and ages 15-19: TBD (names taken). Fast-Pitch Softball
Registration for girl’s fast-pitch softball will held on Wednesday, March 17 & Saturday, March 27. Fees for softball are as follows:
ages 4-7: $30, ages 8-10: $40, ages 11-13: $40 and ages 14-17; $40.

Aerobic Tune-Up
 Daytime classes are held at Honeygo Regional Community Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. (with an optional Friday class. Friday class will have an additional cost). Evening classes are held in the Gunpowder Elementary School cafeteria, Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. and on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:15 p.m. - 7:15 p.m. Cost is $36 for two one-hour classes per week for nine weeks. Baseball Registration
