plays in Essex and accept their awards after the McDonald's
McSoccerfest 2008 championship games. McDonald's McSoccerfest is a 4-on-4 soccer tournament for players aged 5 through adult with divisions based on age, gender, and ability. This year's event attracted 459 teams and more than 15,000 people throughout the weekend. Events like McDonald's McSoccerfest, now in its 15th season, are a part of McDonald's overall Balanced, Active Lifestyles program which encourages consumers to seek out balanced, active lifestyles through healthy eating and exercise. McDonald's McSoccerfest 2008 was produced by McDonald's Family Restaurants of Greater Washington, D.C., and Baltimore with sponsorship support from Baltimore Blast, The Coca-Cola Company, Nissan, The Martin-Brower Company, Telemundo, MIX 107.3 FM, MIX 106.5 FM, El Zol 99.1 FM, El Tiempo Latino, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Maryland Family Magazine, Tamir Linhart Golden Boot, SoccerAmerica, DICK's Sporting Goods, D.C.
