Me How to Love You Conference
There will
be a conference sponsored by the Singles Ministry of St. Stephens AME
Church and Serenity Counseling on Saturday, Sept. 15, 1601 Old Eastern
Ave., from 3 - 7 p.m. The purpose of the conference is to discuss building
healthy relationships using the theme, "Teach Me How to Love You." Conference
registration is $10 in advance and is open to all adult age persons.
There will be light refreshments served and guest panelists and a relationship

Roost #8 Comedy Night
The Essex Ravens
Roost #8 will host a Comedy Night on Sept. 15, featuring Headliner "Gemini"
Comedian, Ventriloquist and Standup Comedian/Magician, also appearing,
Larry Stevens and John Watson. Gemini combines stage illusion, dance,
comedy, romance, audience participation, ventriloquism, and great fun
into one astonishing show! Doors open 7:30 p.m. Show starts at 9 p.m.
Limited open bar with draft beer until show ends, top shelf bar. $1
bottled beer available. Bring your own munchies. The event will be held
on 1007 East Homberg Ave. at the Essex Elks Lodge. Tickets $20, $25
at the door.
