For the last 40 years, the Bazensky family has been providing high quality products and loyal customer service to the public. The third-generation family-owned business opened up in 1970 by Rae and Sid Bazensky in Owings Mills. In 1971, their son Marty joined the business and in 1974, their son Mel came on board and opened the present Joppa Road location. Mel moved to Rockville and opened a store there. In 1999, Marty passed away, leaving the business to his wife Miriam. According to Nisa Felps, Miriam and Marty's daughter and CEO of the business; no matter how many years pass, loyal customers continue to feel what is known as the Bazensky love, something that sets them apart from the competition. We do our absolute best to make sure that each customer is taken care of by finding the specific look, size, color, shape, something that is going to fit in their space at home, says Felps. Recently Miriam and Nisa decided to relocate the family business to 917 Middle River Road. Along with a new location, the business has taken over a new name. The former Bazensky's Dinette and Patio is now known as Bazensky's Furniture: From our home to yours. Felps noted they will be expanding what they sell to include sofas, bedrooms and a closeout section that will feature pub tables, bar stools, lamps, artwork and much more. We will still keep a portion of our casual dining at our new location, but we are trying to expand what we sell in order to expand our market, revealed Felps. We want to be able to provide our customers with great deals in these hard economic times. Currently she is working at both Bazensky's Dinette and Patio as well as Bazensky's Furniture until she and Miriam permanently settle at the Middle River Road location, which is set to take place sometime in November. I would like for the public as well as our loyal customers to know that we are not going to lose who we are and will still be able to help you to get those finds you cant get anywhere else, she noted. We are always going to keep that raw DNA that has kept us successful over the past 40 years.
